ATHE Centre Recognition

Understanding ATHE Centre Recognition

ATHE Centre Recognition is a prestigious status that signifies a centre’s commitment to delivering high-quality education in line with ATHE standards. This process is crucial for centres aiming to offer ATHE qualifications, ensuring they have the necessary infrastructure, policies, and practices in place. By becoming a recognised ATHE Centre, institutions demonstrate their ability to provide exceptional learning experiences, maintain rigorous assessment standards, and uphold the integrity of ATHE qualifications. The recognition process not only validates a centre’s capabilities but also opens doors to a broader range of educational opportunities and collaborations.

Understanding the CRQA Check

The Importance of the Centre Recognition Quality Assurance Check

The CRQA Check is usually arranged within 3 working days from receipt of payment and completed within 15 working days. This will be conducted on site or remotely depending on individual circumstances. At the end of this process a CRQA Check Report will be produced and sent to you based on the findings of the review. As a result of this process there may be action points for your Centre to complete within a stated deadline. As an ATHE Centre you are required to have documented policies and procedures in place to meet the ATHE CRQA Check requirements. This will also ensure your Staff understand what is required of them and how they must deliver, assess and quality assure ATHE qualifications.

Understanding the Traffic Light System

The CRQA Check employs a traffic light system to evaluate the readiness and quality of centres seeking ATHE recognition. This system provides a clear and structured way to assess compliance with ATHE standards.

A green light indicates that your centre demonstrates exemplary practices and is recommended for recognition. An amber light suggests that while your centre meets most requirements, there are areas needing improvement. A weak amber signifies several critical areas that require attention before proceeding. A red light means recognition is not recommended until significant improvements are made.

Understanding these signals helps centres identify areas of strength and those needing development, ensuring a smooth path to recognition. This system not only aids in maintaining high standards but also supports centres in achieving excellence in delivering ATHE qualifications.
